As we embarked on the work of developing this site, we focused on key factors that guided our initial design studies, including the presence of the state highway on Beaver Road.
To provide context, the existing church and its surrounding parking lot serve as reference points for our proposed facility, strategically located just south of the main church building.
Our design incorporates elements inspired by the neighboring church and school, blending stone reminiscent of the church with added brick to give the structure its own unique identity. The stone wainscoting along the bottom further enhances its aesthetic appeal.
Academic facilities are thoughtfully organized within a spacious corridor, with the mechanical and double-sized music room positioned at the center. The elementary and high school components flank either side, while elective areas such as science and art are conveniently located towards the front, encouraging collaboration and shared resources.
On the lower level, a fellowship hall with expansive windows at the rear offers potential for future expansion, enabling classrooms to be doubled in size. The opposite side of the facility is designed to accommodate a 400-seat auditorium with sloped seating, a two-way stage, and a full gymnasium, all complemented by band rooms, libraries, and additional support spaces on the upper level. This visionary design not only meets our educational needs but also fosters a sense of community and inspiration for generations to come.
